Kingston & Arthur's Vale Historic Area (KAVHA) in Norfolk Island is one of the eleven sites that collectively form the Australian Convict Sites World Heritage Property.  KAVHA was inscribed on the World Heritage List by the 34th World Heritage Committee meeting held in Brasilia on 31st July 2010.

The Kingston & Arthur's Vale Historic Area is inscribed on two statutory heritage lists, the National Heritage List (NHL) and the Norfolk Island Heritage Register (NIHR).

Part of the Historic Area is inscribed on another statutory heritage list, the Commonwealth Heritage List (CHL).

We invite you to explore our museums and interpretative centre in the KAVHA area as you are surrounded by elegantly restored Georgian buildings and can feel like you have stepped back in time.....
